- "TRIPLETS???" (No...they are twins! Here's your sign)
- "You got your hands full!"
- One I got today at Target... "I just thought I had problems!" We have problems, but our babies are blessings, not problems.
- Same woman as #3 said, "I'll pray for you."
- "THREE BABIES???" (No, there are just two...you are seeing things)
- Another mom said, "I just thought I had sleepless nights."
- One of my favorites, "Are you done?" or "You are done, right?" (I think we'll have 10 more - but is it anyone's business)
- "Hey so-and-so, come look at this...this is what you have to look forward to!"
- "Are they natural!" (No, they are fake babies)
- We do get some nice comments - "They're beautiful!" (Thanks!)
- "Do you have anymore at home?"
- I loved this one... "Were you trying for three?" (Yeah! We were trying for three... How do you do that?)
We also get the constant stares and people pointing. I understand the curiosity, but it sure does get old. I'll post more when I think of them or when I get them.

Love it! Your sense of humor that is! They are beautiful and I love the family picture!
Oh, how I know all of those comments. The one I get the most lately is "have you seen Jon & Kate plu 8?" ugh! As for the carseats, the more you get out and they know it is not just to go the dr's & get a shot, it will get better. Mine now beg to get out and get in the car. THey are even bringing me my shoes.

Gotta love it! Some people are just brave and will say anything to anyone... I get the comments with my crew, just not the triplet comments...
Today someone even walked up to Caleb and touched his hand! I wanted to grab the sanitizer and wash him down as soon as I could! And then tell her to please not touch my baby cuz he puts his hands in his mouth and I don't know where her hands have been!
Oh yes Misty! How could I forget the million times I've been asked, "Do you watch Jon and Kate Plus Eight?". If I could have a dime for every time I've been asked that...
Those are funny comments - some people say just about anything!
Thank you for the laughs. People are funny--or not, but you just have to laugh.
I get comments, too, having 4, but not as many as triplets bring.
I laughed so hard @ these. If you listen closely maybe you can hear my loud laugh all the way to TX;-) We were told we would have gotten alot more of that if we would have adopted internationally. But since Joey looks somewhat like us only people we know...know. We do get stuff like "OH he is so lucky to have you" which is great, but we too are lucky" and "do you regret doing this" Have you thought of sending him back is my all time favorite" But honestly...we love him and w/ the ingnorance comes many people who love and support him and us very much! Joey is a trip he unlike Randy and I never meets a stranger young or old...so alot of the love people get him is due to his person rather than knowing us and his situation although...people we know are the real supports! love d-
thanks for adding me, Amy! It was so fun to see all the new pictures, and how much the babies have grown! They are precious!!
Oh yes! It certainly is annoying. Doesn't matter where you go, you will get the comments.
I think my least favorite is "Are they natural?" Like you said, is it their business?
My sister was with me one time when someone asked me and she had never experienced it before and without skipping a beat she said, " Are your breasts real?"
The woman just stood their with her mouth hanging open. LOL
I LOVE the "are your breasts real" comeback. Amy, I REALLY hope you get to use that line some day. Oh to be there when you do.
Debi,
I LOVE that comment! I know with my temper, I will probably be saying things like this real soon!
Babies are just so precious, if you love babies like I do, it's hard not to look at them and make a comment, even if its one baby. I know it does get old, having to answer the same questions and hearing the same comments, but just let them know back, "yes, we have been blessed, and we love it" They are precious and I love the picture at the top of your blog. Keep up the good work, you are doing a great job! Your friend in East Texas, Pam.
