So much changing

It hasn't been that long since I updated but so much is changing, I thought I would journal it. It seems like the babies are learning to do more and are developing more every day.

Three's a crowd in this ice bucket! I think this will be my 7 month picture prop.

My big girl standing so strong! (Whitney)

Tyler learned how to roll over from back to front. Whitney is learning to spit like Hannah! Yay! Hannah and Whitney are now squealing an octave or two higher and Lacy is less than thrilled! Ha! Tyler is sitting up better - he is getting so close to being able to sit independently. They like to reach for Lacy and are becoming much more aware of her and each other. Tyler often laughs at his sisters. They are reaching more and more at anything within reach (bottles, books, our glasses, plates etc.)

Hannah and Lacy are bonding...awww...

Solids are going well. The babies have now had green beans, rice cereal, oatmeal cereal. I've been doing my research and reading up on making their baby food! This video was taken the first time they tried green beans a few weeks ago. Their facial expressions are priceless!

Yummy rice cereal
Yummy green beans

They have started sleeping less at night and napping less during the day. Now they wake up around 5:30 or 6 am. Luckily, they can entertain themselves in their cribs for a while and aren't interested in eating first thing after waking up. They have practically dropped their last nap of the day. Sometimes they need a 30 minute catnap before the last feeding of the day, but sometimes not. Needless to say my "down time" has decreased even more.
Until next time...

That bucket IS a great prop!

And MMM! green beans... those were popular at our house, but not as popular as sweet potatoes and carrots! I think it's a Cornelius thing because it's not my thing!

Gotta know... Do you taste the food? I don't... Never really have, but Kev always did/does... my mom too.

When I dug it out of my pantry, I thought...oh...maybe Jill can use this to take pics. I also have a blue one but it is deeper.

I think the sweet potatoes is just a baby thing! Probably because its sweeter. We're not abnormal because we like them, you are because you don't like them. J/k - smooches!

And yes, I have tasted the green beans and cereal to make sure it isn't too hot. The GBs weren't too bad, but the cereal was nasty! But then again, its mixed with formula.

Making the baby food was the way to go for us. We bought food to have on hand for emergencies and for eating away from home. I liked to make huge batches, so I didn't have to do it often. I love all the pictures. Sweet, sweet.

Ditto to what Michaela said. Making the food saves soooo much money and really is more nutritious because it is fresh.

ALL the pictures are so cute as always. I love the bowlful of babies. :)

LOVED...LOVED...LOVED all the pictures. I said AWWWW out loud when I scrolled down and saw the Lacy and Hannah bonding pic. I'm glad they are happy to play in their cribs for a while....gives mom a little more time for other things.
