Another scare...

Oh.... The ups and downs of a multiple pregnancy. I woke up this morning to another scary surprise. Sorry in advance for the graphics, you may want to skip ahead to the next paragraph. I discovered I was bleeding. I immediately called Craig and my doctor and began freaking out. It wasn't too heavy but not just a few drops. And it was the scary color (red) not brown.

I couldn't imagine why this was happening because I was just there yesterday and they all looked perfect. I finally got in touch with my doctor about an hour later. I got in for an appointment about an hour after that. My perinatalogist believes the bleeding is coming from the fact that one of the placentas is overlaying on the cervix, but good news, she does believe the cervix is closed. She said this is pretty common and once my uterus continues to grow, the placenta will reposition and move a little higher. She wants me to take it easy for the next 4 or 5 days and not do too much. She wants me staying off my feet for the most part. She believes within about a week, everything will be fine and I will be able to go back to my normal routine and activities. She also said I have a very long cervix and she thinks I was made to carry triplets! Funny huh? Other than that, everything looks fine with the babies. I did get better sono pictures, so I will leave you with that. Oh and she still thinks the babies sexes are 2 girls and 1 boy.

I am so glad things turned out O.K. Will be praying that the placenta repositions like it should.

I just love seeing all the belly shot and all the sono pics.

I will continue to pray that things go as planned. Love the new pics, I can't believe how much detail you can already tell in the sonograms, WOW.

Praise the LORD for His protective hand upon those precious babies!! I will, of course, be praying that all goes well, as the doctor has predicted. Thank you for allowing me to go with you Monday to see, in person, my next three grandchildren moving around so happily. It brought tears of joy to my eyes. Love and prayers, Mom A.

Thank God everything looked good with the babies. Sounds like a few days rest is much needed after the busy weeks you have had recently. Put those feet up girl!
