I am a little discouraged because my spotting came back. It had stopped a few days after my appointment last week, but it came back. :( I am a disappointed because I have stuff I want to do like finish painting the nursery. I started it Sunday but I didn't do much; I still have a lot left to do. I also need to clean my house... "Monica" is getting really tired of living in the filth. And probably only a few of you know who "Monica" is, so I will explain. Many years ago some of my friends nicknamed me "Monica" after Monica Geller from Friends because I am about as anal as she is regarding cleanliness. Anywho... I talked to Koster again today and she told me not to get too discouraged because she felt sure that with a little more time, the placenta will move off my cervix and everything will be fine. She said sometimes it just takes longer than others. I am not on house arrest, I can still do things around the house and I can leave the house to run short errands or have a social life, but I can't do as much as I normally would. She said not to worry, I will not be bedridden the rest of my pregnancy.
Other than that, I am having some more evident back pain, a mild pain in my belly from stretching and some achy feet and ankles but other than that, I am doing well. I am not complaining, just really surprised all of these symptoms are starting so soon! :) I guess I can't expect anything less with three babies growing inside me! Oh... almost forgot... a couple of nights ago, I think I could feel one of them. I haven't felt any movement or kicks or anything, but I had a really hard knot in part of my lower stomach. I really don't think it was any organs or anything. It was pretty cool! I can't wait to start feeling them move!
On another note... I thought I would show you a picture of the changing table my aunt gave us. It is really cute. I found some cute little baskets at Babies R Us that I think will go great on the shelves. I like the white, but it doesn't go with the rest of the nursery. The other furniture will be a honey oak color. I was planning to paint it, but now I am thinking about just leaving it white and incorporating some white accessories in the nursery. Let me know what you think! Paint it? Don't paint it?
I found your website - I have a question!

Here's a thought. . .I have no idea how your house is set up. Maybe you could put the changing table in your living room area?
Our nursery is upstairs but I had a "baby station" set up in our living room for the first 2 months the babies were home.
It is really hard to bend over for weeks after the C-Section, so having a changing table was nice.
Have fun!
Hey MONICA!!! :) I have to wonder how the Monica in you is going to handle 3 kiddos making lots of messes??? LOL...I'm thinking you'll adapt!
That changing table is really cute, I like how it's curvy and not plain like most. I think you could incorporate some white in your color scheme and it would go just fine, plus you can bring it all together with the baskets you pick out to use. If you paint it that's just one more thing on your "to do" list, LOL!!!
Keep healthy and take care of yourself, I can't wait to see those pretty babies! Still praying for you girly!
Love ya!
