Not too much longer - 31 weeks

Today marks 31 weeks which we are thrilled about. We had our doctor appointment this morning and the babies are all growing like crazy! They all weigh 3 pounds 12 ounces! That is 11 pounds 4 ounces total!! My doctor said she could honestly say she has never seen triplets grow so well - she said they are very big for their age and they are all maintaining the closeness in size, which is a very good thing. All their fluids, heart rates and cord doppler measurements are great. Koster said the surgeons are going to get a bath because I have SO much fluid.

I mentioned recently how I started feeling a lot more pressure and that I felt like baby A (Tyler) has moved a lot further down. I felt like this pressure has done a number on my cervix and I was right. My cervix is now measuring 12-14 with a constant funnel; I am 75% effaced, but she didn't check to see if I am dilated. I haven't seen Nivens today yet, so we will have to wait and see what she thinks. Koster is thinking I may go another week, but I am not so sure. I think that was a best case scenario guess. I haven't been feeling well at all today. I've been having a lot of nausea, heartburn, dizziness and just sheer exhaustion today. My doctor said some of these symptoms can be a sign that labor is quickly approaching. Nivens just came by and she also thinks it will be within the week. She said she would be surprised if I made it to next Thursday. Time will tell...

If you would like to visit, it would probably be best if you just send me an email at this time due to my increased discomfort and exhaustion. Thank you to everyone who has come by to visit, emailed and called. We appreciate all your love, support and prayers and will keep you updated as things progress.

Best of luck to you. Every day is just one day closer to 32 weeks! I'm impressed with the babies weights being so similar. Sounds like they want even competition!

Is is possible to labor on your own? Gosh, I can't imagine. I'm sure you've got a lot of family and friends anxiously awaiting their arrival. (..as I anxiously await each blog post!)

You're housing those babies well. You are blessed!

That is so exciting. We cannot wait. What a blessing that they are so big and healthy. That has to help ease a little of your worries. God is so good!! Let us know if we can do anything.

Amy,
I wish I could be more involved, but, well, with my crew that is near impossible. We pray for the five of you every day. Austin put Aunt Amy and the babies on his prayer list for AWANA. Sounds like everything just keeps going really well. "D" day is nearly here and we are praying now for a safe delivery and healthy babies from the start.

I'd love to see you again before they are born, but I won't come exhaust you further. Guess we'll be filling the hallway at the hospital after arrival.
Love all of you,
Lisa

Yeah Amy! That is such exciting news! I can't believe that this day is already here. It seems like yesterday we were pigging out at The Melting Pot and laughing our heads off! Know that Ryan, Cadence, and I are praying for you out here in Vegas and can't wait to see the pictures of all the beautiful angels that God is blessing all our lives with. I can't wait to come to Texas again and meet the new bundles!!!! Take care! Love ya woman!

Hi Amy-

I recently found your blog and I SO identify with everything you have been going through. At 31 weeks I was huge and misesrable. I think my entire 31 week post was one big complaint - I couldn't take it anymore! I couldn't even sit up anymore. You are doing a GREAT JOB and you look fabulous! I am rooting for you and will keep you in my prayers. :)

AWESOME! You have done so well and been so strong. I am sure that has been a factor in the excellent growth and health of those babies. Keep up the positive attitude and let everyone pamper you as much as they want. I have been boring all my friends with updates about my nieces triplets. I think they will be glad when babies are born so I will quit. LOL! I'm looking forward to the call from my big brother telling me three precious children have been welcomed into the world. Angels will dance!! Prayers, Love, and Positive Thoughts your way...Love you bunches!!
