Multi-tasking Mom & Dad

I was so impressed by how well it went today with my multi-tasking feedings, I had to show Craig how I did it. He gave it a shot when he got home this evening. We thought we would take a picture of us in action to show you. Notice my leg draped over Hannah in the middle.

Had to share this link with you. These bottles SAVED my life.

I will do a blog entry tomorrow with pictures of my babies using them if you want to see them in action. They were seriously the one item my Multiples Group really recommended and rightfully so.

ps Have to say though, i am quite impressed with your "technique". LOL

Ah, yes, Boppies and bottles. I remember those days. Later, when I was breastfeeding them -- one at a time because together was a zoo -- I would feed one and rock the other in her bouncy seat with my foot to keep her from screaming. As parents, you find uses for your other limbs that you never knew existed, eh?

Amy,
I wanted to comment back about your questions you left on my blog.
I started using the Podees pretty young with my little ones, they were about 1 month old (age adjusted, they should've still been baking.LOL) The biggest key I found in getting them to be able to drink was that I used the same nipples on the Podees that I used every day.
Now, if your little ones don't have a strong suck, you might need to "start" the bottle for them by either sucking on the nipple as a friend of mine did, or hang it until the milk fills the tube, liek I did. But, if they have a good strong suck, give it to them when they are good & hungry & they should be successful. :)
Also, we did have some moms who bought those bottle holders you mentioned and they LOVED the, also. So, I think if the one doesn't work, the other should.

Isn't it funny how us mom's of triplets find useful ways to use our feet?! So great! I have triplet girls that will be 8 weeks old on Monday, and I have started to feed them all myself pretty much the same way. :) Way to go!
