We tried the podee bottles and the kids did okay with them the first go around. Whitney was the only one to successfully finish with them; Hannah and Tyler had to finish taking their meal out of a regular bottle. We tried it again at the next feeding, but it was not successful. They were very tired and didn't want to eat; I think if they were more eager to eat, they would do better. I think in a few weeks time, these will work. The only other problem is these bottles are a real pain to clean and dry. They are rather expensive so we only have 3 of them which means we have to clean them after every feeding. This gets very time consuming. In the meantime, we will try the milk maid baby bottle holders and see how they do with those for now.
I found your website - I have a question!

I'm glad you gave it a go. They will definitely do better when they are really hungry until they get it down perfect (they are still little peanuts)
As far as cleaning, I found that purchasing pipe cleaners at a craft store worked really well & was a cheap solution.
ps They just look so cute all laying there. I miss the itty bitty baby stage. :(
I can't believe they did that well with the podees that young. Ours did not even touch them until 6 months and did not get the hang of them until 7 (however they are COMPLETELY worth the hassel once they get the hang of it). Keep trying.

i'm impressed they even did that well, so young. i think mine are even too young to do it well! (3.5 months old). i do want them to get them by the time they're 5.5 months old, since we're taking a road trip.
They look sooo cute!!!!
I'm thinking about getting the Milk Maids so let me know how they work out for you.
Just wondering how you have all been????
