7 1/2 month pics *UPDATED*

*THERE IS ANOTHER NEW POST BELOW THIS ONE*

I got a chance to put some of the pics up on my blog that Jill took, so here they are. Also, some of my pics were recovered from my damaged disk, so I will post some of them on here when I get it later today.

Whitney, Tyler, Hannah (L to R)

Whitney was so happy during this photo shoot.

Whitney cuddling with the blanket.

Tyler was not so happy - it was next to impossible to get him to smile. He had this glazed over look all afternoon.

Wow! A smile!!!

Sweet Hannah

Whitney has the longest eyelashes.

Betty Crocker gets to work

This weekend I started making my own baby food. It was a rather timely project, but well worth it and actually fun! Anybody that knows me knows I don't like cooking much but I actually enjoyed making my own baby food for my kiddos. It is so much healthier and so much cheaper!! I made just about everything you can think of...acorn squash, yellow summer squash, spaghetti squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, pears, bananas, green beans, peas and zucchini. They haven't had all of these food yet, but I figured if they either didn't like them or have an allergy to them, I will just cook them in something I make for me and Craig. I have Jessica Seinfeld's cookbook "Deceptively Delicious". I may just get on a health kick and start steaming more veggies etc. for me and Craig as well. I definitely found myself snacking some while making their food.

Professional 7 month pics

Okay...so I planned a play day at my SIL's today and last minute it turned into a photo session/play day. It was fun but a lot of work. I am too tired to put them on my own blog so go over to Jill's blog and check a few of them out. They turned out really cute!

Getting closer...

...to crawling that is! I JUST went in to peek at Hannah because I could hear that she wasn't sleeping and I saw her pull up on her knees and forearms and she rocked back and forth a few times!!! Baby proofing needs to start immediately!

Also, I have a friend working on my disk and he is having success retrieving some of my pictures. I will post some when I get it back.

7 months!

I can't believe my babies are 7 months old already. They have mastered rolling over and will roll to their tummies the instant they are laid on their backs. Funny how they love tummy time now... Hannah actually did two rolls back to back one day, but hasn't done it sense. Time to start baby proofing! Tyler and Hannah are very good at rotating on their tummies and somehow manage to make headway across the floor even though they can't scoot or crawl. We are practicing sitting up and they are getting better at it, but still can't sit up unassisted for very long.

Tyler weighs 17 pounds and is still the heaviest. Whitney, for the first time, weighs more than Hannah. Whitney weighs 14 pounds and Hannah weighs 13 3/4 pounds.

We are working on getting out more and doing things without the babies. Recently, we put the babies in the church nursery and they did pretty good. They have only been once and it was only for an hour, but I had to start off slowly. Also, we left the babies with a babysitter (outside of family) for the first time and had an evening out by ourselves. It was so nice!

I had lots of great pictures and video for you but my disc got corrupted or something, therefore, all my pictures are currently lost. I am trying to get someone to help me retrieve them so stay tuned.

So much changing

It hasn't been that long since I updated but so much is changing, I thought I would journal it. It seems like the babies are learning to do more and are developing more every day.

Three's a crowd in this ice bucket! I think this will be my 7 month picture prop.

My big girl standing so strong! (Whitney)

Tyler learned how to roll over from back to front. Whitney is learning to spit like Hannah! Yay! Hannah and Whitney are now squealing an octave or two higher and Lacy is less than thrilled! Ha! Tyler is sitting up better - he is getting so close to being able to sit independently. They like to reach for Lacy and are becoming much more aware of her and each other. Tyler often laughs at his sisters. They are reaching more and more at anything within reach (bottles, books, our glasses, plates etc.)

Hannah and Lacy are bonding...awww...

Solids are going well. The babies have now had green beans, rice cereal, oatmeal cereal. I've been doing my research and reading up on making their baby food! This video was taken the first time they tried green beans a few weeks ago. Their facial expressions are priceless!

They have started sleeping less at night and napping less during the day. Now they wake up around 5:30 or 6 am. Luckily, they can entertain themselves in their cribs for a while and aren't interested in eating first thing after waking up. They have practically dropped their last nap of the day. Sometimes they need a 30 minute catnap before the last feeding of the day, but sometimes not. Needless to say my "down time" has decreased even more.
Until next time...

Hannah - 6 months

Two new posts below...

Hannah is developing such a funny personality. She is so squirmy and wiggly and happy. She can now roll both directions. It won't be long and she will be rolling and crawling everywhere. Hannah weighs 12 lbs. 10.2 oz. and is 25 1/4 inches long.

And if you are wondering what happened with Hannah's six month pictures and why she is in overalls in the group pics but not in the individuals, it is because somehow I lost her pictures when I copied them to the disk. I deleted them off the camera before I realized it. I was one tired Mama after all the pictures and blogging updates, I didn't feel like changing her clothes again.

That looks uncomfortable but Hannah doesn't like to sit back in her carseat, so she falls asleep like this.

Hannah's latest sleeping position. So funny!
Yes, she is just as silly as she seems. She loves to hang upside down over the boppy.
Lots of sleeping shots... Here she is sleeping in Daddy's lap in the middle of a feeding.

Hannah's turban! Ha!

Loves to sit up!
